Mr Timothy Nuttall FFEN, MICPEM, SRN
Head of Clinical Services
Tim Nuttall is a State Registered Nurse and has been the Event Medicine Company’s Nurse Manager since the formation of the Company until taking on a new role as Head of Clinical Services in October 2010. He served 22 years in the Army Medical Services, the majority of this time being spent in Accident and Emergency departments or on operational deployments.
After leaving the Service he became responsible for the planning, training and delivery of Immediate Care within a large multi faceted retail based organisation in Knightsbridge, London. Diversities of the company included a large department store, a Premier League football club, a busy heliport and a variety of factories and retail outlets.
He currently retains his responsibility for the medical support of the Premiership football club and is the Education Facilitator for the British Association for Immediate Care (BASICS). Tim responds in support of the East Midlands Ambulance Service as a Nurse responder with the Lincolnshire Integrated Voluntary Emergency Service (LIVES), his local BASICS immediate care scheme. He also provides emergency care advice and training, as well as event medical support on a private basis in and around Lincolnshire.
Tim is a Fellow of the Faculty of Emergency Nursing and a Member of the Institute of Civil Protection and Emergency Management. He is a member of the Training and Standards Board of the Faculty of Pre-hospital Care of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, an instructor for BASICS and for the Major Incident Medical Management and Support (MIMMS) course.
He possesses the Pre Hospital Emergency Care Certificate and has undertaken training in Paediatric Advanced Life Support and Advanced Trauma Nursing. He is currently studying for an MSc in Health Incident Command through Manchester Metropolitan University.
