The Event Medicine Company has an increasing number of road running events in its portfolio. They are of differing sizes and complexities and the Event Medicine Company’s response to each is tailored to the Client’s needs.

Some of the events which have been covered by the Event Medicine Company include:

The Fleet Half Marathon

This event attracts between 2000 and 2500 runners over the last 4 years. The Event Medicine Company have been contracted in to provide a small number of professional staff.

The Adidas Women's Challenge

Previously known as HydroActive, this 5k run for women is held annually in Hyde park. It attracted 17,000 runners in 2009 varying from world class runners who completed the 5k in 15 minutes all the way down to less fit or prepared walkers. The Event Medicine Company provides the full cover for this event.

BUPA Great South Run

A very well attended 10k run, which takes place in and around Portsmouth and Southsea. The Event Medicine Company works alongside South Central Ambulance Service and St John Ambulance at this event.  The Event Medicine Company provide a professionally staffed casualty clearing centre at the finish line, with a 3 resus team capability and 10 bed holding facility.

Royal Parks Half Marathon

In 2008 a new event entered the road running calendar. The Royal Parks Half Marathon starts and finishes in Hyde Park in London. The Event Medicine Company provided a very similar casualty clearing centre in support of other providers as it does for the Great South Run.
