These individuals are trained and competent to use bicycles in the crowd environment and provide an excellent means of delivering paramedic care swiftly in all mass gathering situations.
Our bicycle paramedics have been deployed very effectively at a range of events including:
- International Festival of the Sea
- Trafalgar 200 event at Southsea
- Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton's Air Days
- The Adidas Women’s 5k in Hyde Park
- Farnborough International Air Shows
Since their introduction there has been a steady increase in the use of the paramedic bicycles and The Event Medicine Company now operates three which are deployed at virtually all our major events.
